Eric Lewis is definitely a Violin Genius.   He has been teaching privately the violin for over 40 years now.  He has produced many very successful violin players.  I’ve been able to play the violin for quite a few years, but after watching Eric Lewis’s video series, I have become a lot better.  I’m no pro, but I can hear the difference in my playing.  It’s not my first instrument or my passion, so I doubt it will ever be more than that.  But I am very impressed with how easily my method improved with just a short time on Eric’s course.

The great thing about learning to play the violin with Eric is his method.  His method gives you the flexibility to learn all kinds of violin music.  You are not going to be limited to one or two types of violin music.

Another thing that dissapoints me about other violin teaching programs is they assume you know how to read the notes.  Eric Lewis will start here if you need him to.  You will learn simple methods for reading violin music notes.  So even if you have never touched a violin, Violin Master Pro can help you.

There are many different levels that he teaches at.  If you are already somewhat skilled with the violin and just want to get better, this video series is also for you.  Even professional violin players will get better by following Eric Lewis’s direction.

The cost of this program is the best part.  Usually when you want to learn an instrument, you take lessons.  Either weekly or daily.  And those usually are going to cost you a lot.  With this program, you only have a one time fee.  It does not get any better than that.  With the video series you have every lesson over and over again at your leisure.

The only downfall of this program is no community support.  I was hoping for a forum, or some kind of community to share my thoughts and success with.  It’s really not a big deal though, all you have to do is google violin forums and you will have many communities to chat with.

The best thing about this series is that its all in videos.  There is no better way to learn how to play an instrument than by videos.  I have tried a few courses that were all on book, but they come up short.  It’s extremely helpful to have the instructions all on video.  I had to watch several of the videos over and over to learn a method.
